Hello! I am a user researcher for Google that is studying the needs and wants of carpoolers. Currently we are researching slug lines and casual carpool communities. My hope is to find 4-5 folks to have quick phone calls with from the DC area. I can offer an incentive to those who participate, $30 for the phone call, in the form of an online gift card or Google playstore credits. I'm happy to schedule based on a time that is convenient for you, and primarily want to ask you about what works and doesn't work for you in terms of ad-hoc carpools, including things like etiquette.
